You must be of legal drinking age in your country of residence (18 in the UK) to order on this site.
When you place an order online you receive an acknowledgement by email. This is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your order and your contract to purchase is not complete until we send you another email confirming this. Your account will not be debited until that time. We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time until the contract to purchase is complete.
We will cancel any order that fails our credit card fraud checks, or on the advice of our payment provider, the issuing bank or the cardholder. If an order is shown to be fraudulent, we will inform the police and cancel any further orders to the same customer.
We only accept orders for delivery to physical addresses. We do not accept orders for delivery to P.O. boxes.
All deliveries must be signed for by an adult of legal drinking age in the destination country (18 in the UK).
Although we make every effort to ensure orders are delivered on time, all delivery dates and times are only estimates and not guarantees.
In the event that your order or part of your order is broken in transit we will issue a refund for the broken items. Should your order arrive damaged you may either refuse the entire delivery or note down the damage with the delivery driver when receiving the goods. If you sign for the goods without doing this, it will be assumed they have been received in good condition, so please check your delivery carefully. Please contact us as soon as possible to inform us of a breakage.
In the event that the wrong products are delivered to you we will replace them (provided we can still supply the product(s) from stock) or have them returned to us and issue a refund. You will not be liable for any additional delivery charges.
In the event that you are not able to receive delivery and you do not rearrange it with our courier within their specified time frame, your order may be returned to us. Should this happen, we reserve the right to charge you for any subsequent delivery attempt.
Under the UK’s Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund, including for the original delivery charge, up to seven working days beginning from the day after it is delivered. To cancel, you must notify us by email or in writing within this time. Once you have cancelled your order, you must arrange to have the goods returned to us at the above address at your expense. If you would like us to arrange a courier for you, we can do this and pass on the cost (available from the UK only, some postcodes excluded). Please include a copy of your receipt stating the reason for the return. We will refund you via your original payment method. You are required to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession such that they are returned to us in a saleable condition. The entire order must be returned.
If you wish to return a product for any reason, we will be happy to issue a credit. The item(s) must be returned within six months of purchase and you will be liable for all transportation costs. Any wine returned must be unopened and all products must be in their original, saleable condition. Please contact us to let us know you intend to return the item(s), then send them to the above address. If you would like us to arrange a courier for you, we can do this and pass on the cost (available from the UK only, some postcodes excluded). Please include a copy of your receipt stating the reason for the return. Once we have the items back, we will issue a credit.
CORKED & OTHERWISE FAULTY WINE
If we verify that a wine you buy from us is corked or otherwise faulty we will issue you with a credit for the amount you paid for it, provided:
- It was purchased from us within the last six months.
- It is not a ‘fine wine’ (it is under £50 a bottle).
- It has not been damaged, kept too long or improperly stored.
- You still have the wine in the bottle.
Please reseal the bottles with the wine inside, then contact us to let us know of the problem. Once we verify the fault, we will issue a credit. Sometimes we can do this without seeing the wine, otherwise we will ask you to return it to the above address. If you do have to return the wine and would like us to arrange a courier for you, we can do this and pass on the cost (available from the UK only, some postcodes excluded). Please include a copy of your receipt stating the reason for the return. Credits for corked or otherwise faulty wine are issued at our sole discretion.
